COMPANY OVERVIEW

Retired LE Consultants, LLC (RLEC) is Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that only hires active and retired Law Enforcement personnel dedicated to providing the skills learned over a life time of service to your organization. Each member of our team has instructed police officers in active shooter response up to the level of Multi-Assault, Counter Terrorism Action Capabilities (MACTAC) at the supervisory level. In addition, they have instructed Workplace Violence Prevention (WVP) to the civilian market, ranging from universities, schools, healthcare facilities, religious organizations, and businesses across the country.

The majority of the instructors are current or retired Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers, to include veteran Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) officers. We have expanded our services to include training in all facets of SWAT operations.

Core Competencies

  • This course is designed for armed security or police officers with low or no active shooter training. Instruction includes lecture and hands-on tactics, room entry, room clearing,
    and operating in diamond formation, culminating in a training exercise.

  • This course builds on the training from the basic active shooter response course and has multiple diamonds working together, indoors or outdoors. The leadership training is emphasized to learn to control the scene. Multiple suspects, high powered weapons, and explosives are discussed, and the tactics required to defeat them.

  • This course covers the definition and the prevalence of violence in the workplace. We cover the importance of policy, reporting,
    documenting, and investigating incidents. Situational awareness, see something say something. Know your exits, know where to shelter in place, how to barricade, and how to use improvised weapons as a last line of defense. Evacuate, Evade, Engage. Law enforcement response, what to expect, and how to interact with them.

  • We cover policy and procedures, and then have a tabletop
    exercise to rehearse policy and procedure to prevent, react to, and how to sustain operations in the aftermath.

  • Item descriptionlaw enforcement or armed security working with paramedics as a team to make entry into the warm zone to evacuate the wounded during an active threat event. When working with the addition of medical instructors it becomes Tactical Emergency Medicine Services (TEMS) training.

  • Live fire training custom designed and scenario driven for armed security and law enforcement personnel. Active Shooter, MACTAC, and Rescue Task Force skills practiced on the
    range with shoot no shoot targets.

  • Training on the planning, briefing, rehearsals, and execution of tactical search warrants in a safe and legal manner

  • We will provide custom training in any of the vast array of SWAT skills:

    • CQB to HRT

    • Urban climbing

    • Waterborne operations

    • Aerial snipers

    • Helicopter operations, fast roping

    • CNT and de-escalation
